About the Summer Internship Program
Welcome to the fifteenth internship class!
Art Authority is proud to be entering the fifteenth year of our internship program!
Giving back to the community of art education that we serve by offering valuable job experience in art and art history while enhancing our art database at the same time.
Our internships are unpaid, but the positions are a valuable source of real-world experience working with a cutting-edge, industry-lauded art app and database. Letters of involvement and recommendation will be offered to interns who perform well, and this experience may fulfill internship requirements for your degree.
Like music, movies, books, and photography, art is moving into the digital realm. Understanding and having experience with this transition should be very helpful as you look for employment in your field in the future. All accepted interns will receive a free copy of the Art Authority app and discounts at 1000Museums.com.

What to expect…
As an intern working at the Art Authority Museum and on the Art Authority app line, you will use the Internet and other resources to enhance our collection of images of works by classic and contemporary artists, and associated metadata about those works.
Examples include adding images to the collection, finding scholarly articles about current and new works, and setting "tags" to indicate the subject matter of those works.
